After completing his studies in Criminal Justice at Missouri Southern State University, Nate Jones joined the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, serving the citizens of Cherokee County consistently through that time and rising through the ranks to his current leadership position of Chief Deputy. Nate Jones, who was named 2023 Kansas Sheriff's Deputy of the Year has also successfully completed the Executive Law Enforcement Trilogy and is a Certified Kansas Law Enforcement Accreditation Manager, in addition to holding many other various law enforcement certifications.
